PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio output normality confirming device that discriminates normality/abnormity of a signal by adding a fluctuation of a reception level to a criterion factor on the basis of a mean value of a reception level when detecting a unique word and to provide a radio output normality confirming method. SOLUTION: The reception is provided with a band pass filter that extracts only a signal with a frequency to conduct desired discrimination among signals received from a transmitter 10, a unique word detector 3 that detects a unique word included in a received signal for a prescribed period, a level fluctuation detection means 13 that provides an output of a difference between a mean signal level when the unique word is normally detected and a signal level of the received signal, and a discrimination device 6 that outputs a discrimination result to inform of a transmitter signal error when the unique word is detected and a signal level of the signal fed from the band pass filter differs from the mean signal level in excess of a specified range. |
