<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an improper picture display without sacrificing the performance as the whole of a device by changing over data to be displayed on a displat screen in an alternative way from normal display data which is transmitted from the side of a computer device to video picture data. SOLUTION: Child windows are opened by being superposed on a parent window which is fixedly opened on the whole surface of a display screen 16 and also one child window 24d is used for displaying a video picture. After a window judging part 25 checks a window 24 which is opened at a scanning coordinate position, a display window selecting part 26 specifies the window number displayed in the highest order. Moreover, a color converting part selects a color palette provided in accordance with the specified window 24 to convert the display data being at the scanning coordinate into color data 29 with the color palette. On the other hand, data which are to be displayed is selectable in an alternative way to either the color data 29 or video data 31 by a video picture superposing part 30.</p> |
