PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform notify the occurrence of halfway fitting condition so as to prevent errors in operation due to abnormal contact by partially shortening terminal length of a connector for preventing contact when incomplete fitting and arranging a detection circuit for contact detection of the shortened terminal length part occur. SOLUTION: A printed circuit board connection side connector is constructed of a connector housing 2 and a connector terminal 4, and by inserting a harness side connector housing 5, the connector is fitted. A connector halfway fitting detection terminal 1 with a length-preventing contact until the connector is fitted completely is arranged. A connector halfway fitting detection harness 3 fitting with the halfway detection terminal 1, when the harness side connector housing 5 is inserted is grounded, so that the potential of the connector halfway fitting detection terminal 1 becomes 0 V, when fitting is carried out completely. In the detection circuit, a connector halfway fitting detection terminal 1 is connected to a 5 V power source via a connector halfway fitting detection resistor, so that its potential becomes 5 V, when fitting is carried out halfway.
