PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element having high luminance and emitting stable red light by causing an anthraquinone derivative to be contained, which serves as an organic light emitting material in an organic layer arranged between an anode and a cathode and provided with a light-emitting region. SOLUTION: As a light-emitting material for an organic electric field light-emitting element, an anthraquinone derivative represented by formula I is used. In the formula, R1-R4 are each aryl groups shown by the formula II (R5-R9 each represents a hydrogen group, an alkoxyl group, an alkyl group, an amino group, and an aminoalkyl group). For example, compounds in formula III are used. These compounds are provided with electron transport performance and hole transport performance, so that an organic layer can be used as a light-emitting layer serving as an electron transport layer or a hole carrying layer. For example, an element is provided by forming a compound in the formula III into a film on a glass substrate, in which an ITO positive electrode with a thickness of 100 nm is formed on one surface, as a hole transport layer concurrently serving as a light-emitting layer with a thickness of 50 nm, depositing tris (8-quinolyl) aluminum by a thickness of 50 nm as an electron transport material, and then, depositing a Mg and Ag lamination film as a negative electrode material by a thickness of 50 nm.
