PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waterproof case in which a packing can be easily set on a mounting end face of a sidewall 1b of a case main body 1 on its opening side. SOLUTION: A packing 2 is placed on a packing mount end face 1ba of a sidewall 1b of a case main body 1 on its opening side. An opening 1c of the main body 1 is covered with a cover 3 by means of the packing 2. The cover 3 is tightened fluid-tightly to the main body by means of screws 7, which are passed through holes 4 of the cover 3 and holes 5 of the packing 3 and screwed into a plurality of screw holes 6 main in the end face 1ba of the sidewall 2b. Collar insert holes 8 are made at entrances of the screw holes 6 in the end face 1ba of the sidewall 1b respectively. Collars 9 are inserted into lower parts of the collar insert holes 8 respectively. Upper parts of the collars 9 projected from the end face 1ba of the side wall 1b are fitted into the holes 5 of the packing 2.
