PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve grades in pin cushion distortion at mid position between upper and lower end of an image plane and X axis in VCR correction by a reverse barrel magnetic field which is the reverse direction with the pin cushion magnetic field in a self-conversion deflection yoke. SOLUTION: This deflection yoke is provided with a first series matter comprising first correcting coils 2a, 2b, connected to a vertical deflection coil 9 in series, to generate pin cushion coma aberration correcting magnetic field 3a, 3b which is the same direction with vertical deflection magnetic field, second correcting coils 4a, 4b, connected to the coils 2a, 2b in series, to generate barrel coma aberration correcting magnetic field 5 which is the reverse direction with the vertical deflection magnetic field and a reverse parallel circuit 6 of diodes. The deflection yoke is also provided with a second series matter comprising third correction coils 11a, 11b, connected to the first series matter in parallel, to generate barrel coma aberration correcting magnetic field 12 which is the same direction with the vertical deflection magnetic field and a resistor 14 and a resistor 15 connected with the first and second series matter in parallel.
