PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a barrier opening/closing driving mechanism having simple constitution by providing a fixed relative operation member which sets an opening/closing lever free when a lens barrel unit is at a photographing position and turns the opening/closing lever so as to close a barrier against an energizing mechanism when the unit is moved from the photographing position to a housing position. SOLUTION: When the lens barrel unit 10 is at the photographing position, the arm 20b of an opening/closing crank lever 20 and te fixed relative operation member are in a disengaged state. Then, a pair of barriers 16 are opened because an opening/closing ring 18 is turned in a barrier opening direction by a tension spring 19 overcoming the force of a torsion spring 17. In contrast, when the unit 10 is moved to the housing position, the arm 20b of the lever 20 abuts on the fixed relative operation member and the lever 20 is turned counterclockwise with the movement of the unit 10. Then, the ring 18 is turned in a direction where it closes the barrier 16 against the force of the spring 19 by the engaging relation between the arm 20a and a turning operation projection 18b, so that a pair of barriers 16 close a photographing aperture 13.
