PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a base isolation mechanism capable of being accomodated in a lower projection area of an equipment by providing more than a predetermined number of pieces of elastic bodies of which one ends are locked on more than a predetermined number of locking points of the equipment and of which the other ends are locked in the equipment projection area at a floor side. SOLUTION: At least eight elastic bodies 26 of which one ends are locked on above four mooring points 28a, 28b, 22a of an electronic equipment 23, and of which the other ends are moored in an equipment projection area at a floor side are provided. The level feet 24 slidable on a floor 21, and supporting the electronic equipment 23 on the floor 21 are mounted on four corners on a bottom surface of the electronic equipment 23. The elastic bodies 26 are respectively provided with holding parts on their both ends, one end of the holding part is respectively engaged with the lever foot 24, and the other end is engaged with the mooring fitting 28a or 28b, or locking point 22a. On this occasion, all the lock fittings 28a, 28b and mooring point 22a are located within a bottom surface of the electronic equipment 23. According to this structure, the seismic force transmitted to the electronic equipment 23 by the elastic bodies 26 can be reduced and isolated.
