<p>A telecommunications system with a terminal device, in particular telephone apparatus, which is provided with an interface device for the digital data transmission to and from a switching device (Local Exchange LE) of a first network with an access being enabled through the switching device to at least one further switching device belonging to a further network with a predeterminable network preselection (Network Access Code) and with the digital data transmission occuring through a signalling protocol and with the signalling protocol, and in particular the ISDN D-channel protocol or PSTN protocol, being provided with a charge rate information protocol range for the transmission of charge rate information from the switching device to the terminal device on a call to be started, with the charge rate information considering the desired area code and, optionally, the network preselection of the desired further network in order to further develop a telecommunications system, or a method aimed at the same, so that the user is provided prior to the commencement of a call with up-to-date information on the charge rate of a call to be performed.</p> |
