A bowling pin arrangement controller and a system thereof capable of arranging pins in an arbitrary pin arrangement pattern and constructed by slightly modifying a pinsetter machine provided with only basic functions required for 10-pin bowling; namely, by adding a selective pin gripping mechanism for gripping pins, when pins are to be lifted, required by a pin arrangement pattern given from the outside to a conventional pinsetter machine comprising a means for arranging 10 pins at a first ball-rolling and a means for gripping and lifting the arranged pins, moving a rake for sweeping and then rearranging the pins, so that the pins can be arranged in a specified pin arrangement pattern when the pins are rearranged at second ball-rolling.
