A label which has a uniaxially stretched film substrate layer (A) comprising a thermoplastic resin in an amount of 55 wt % or more and less than 95 wt % and a fine, inorganic or organic powder having an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 2 mu m in an amount of more than 5 wt % and 45 % or less, on one side of the substrate layer, a uniaxially stretched film surface layer (B) comprising 35 to 85 wt % of a thermoplastic resin and 15 to 65 wt % of a fine, inorganic or organic powder having an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 2 mu m and, on the other side of the substrate layer, a uniaxially stretched film adhesive layer (C) comprising 90 to 99 wt % of a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 80 to 140 DEG C and 1 to 10 wt % of a fine, inorganic or organic powder having an average particle diameter of 0.7 to 3 mu m. The label is excellent in opacity, smoothness of an adhesive layer and Clark rigidity, and exhibits good fittability in in-mold fabrication, effective inhibition of blister and orange peel after in-mold fabrication, and good adhesiveness.
