PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely allocate a main control part operation key and a personal computer operation key on the same keyboard of a control panel and to take in information of the key into a main control part and a personal computer part without changing software processing or hardware of a key input interface. SOLUTION: When a key on a control panel 41 is depressed in a numerical controller where a personal computer is used with the numerical controller, key information is transmitted to a key encoder 25 for discriminating whether it is for a personal computer part 28 or for a main control part 30. Key information is transmitted to the personal computer part 28 or the main control part 30 through a line 26 or 27 with the discrimination result of a key encoder 25.
