PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plural external interfaces with satisfactory operability by selectively switching the interfaces corresponding to the connecting states of the interfaces. SOLUTION: An interfaces part 106 has two external interface types of a USB(universal serial bus) and centronics. That is, this device is provided with a USB connector 134, USB MPU 130 for connecting the USB to the bus, buffer 135 for buffering the signal of the USB, flash memory 132 for storing the control code of the USB MPU 130, Centronics connector (R) 133, analog switch 137 for switching centronics data (IFD-0), crystal oscillator part 136 providing the source oscillation of the interface part 106, and interface circuit 131 for controlling the switching of a centronics status signal EX-CONTOL.
