PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-acid battery suppressing the drop of lifetime even when it is used under a vibrated condition. SOLUTION: Positive electrode plates 4 using expand lattice and negative electrode plates 2 stored in a bag-shaped separator 1 are laminated alternately so that a bunch of electrode plates is accomplished, wherein the separator 1 is formed by folding a porous synthetic resin sheet with the overlapped side edges sealed into a bag, and a plurality of longitudinal ribs 3 are parallel installed on the outside surface in the central part sharing a major part across the width, and at the left and right side edges, a plurality of minor ribs 5a crossing the left and right ends of the positive electrode plates are installed above and below band-shapedly.
