Optimal line break determination

Method and apparatus divide a paragraph of text into lines. The invention determines possible line breaks for multiple lines from a portion of the paragraph and selects an optimal line break that produces an ideal set of line breaks for the multiple lines from the possible line breaks. <IMAGE>
