The stop wall(8) consists of an inherently rigid flat material and by a transversely extending linear-form weakened zone(11) is divided into two sections(9,10) which hinge in relation to each other. One section(9), which is adjacent to the free transverse edge, stands at right angles to the other section(10) when in the in-use position(9'), the second section running parallel to the floor and supporting the first section. When not in use the stop wall lies between the floor and floor covering.
