Valve for locking frost-resistant water pipe before final assembly

The valve comprises a valve housing with a seat (4) which is connected to an intermediate pipe passing through a building wall. Upon final assembly outside the building an outlet housing is set on the intermediate pipe. There is a rod (9) that is coaxially insertable into the water pipe, with a seal (10) on one end that grips the valve seat. The other end of the rod is pushed towards the seat by way of a union nut (12) threaded onto the intermediate pipe (6) for the outlet housing.
