Rotating publicity plates can be fixed particularly on a motor car by a device comprising a bar and a clamp formed in one piece and angled in relation to one another. The bar (3) in its upper section is divided and by pressing its two halves together enables the publicity plate to be inserted, which rests on a running surface (4) on the bar. Two projections (2) hold the plate after insertion in its predetermined position and prevent it slipping under the effect of strong wind. The plate (1) is of centrally reinforced plastic and a hole enables it to be placed on the bar.
