A high temp.-resistant masking tape comprises: (a) an impregnated paper substrate having two surfaces; (b) a release coating on the first surface; (c) a primer coating on the second surface, comprising a mixt. of a carboxylated SBR rubber latex, a natural rubber (NR) and an acrylic rubber; and (d) an adhesive coating on (c), comprising a cured mixt. of NR and an acrylic synthetic rubber.
