The device has two input connections (N200,202) and an output connection (N204). A reference current source (214) is connected to the first input. A load circuit (210,212) delivers a first current to the output, which has the same value as the reference current (Iref). A driver device (216) generates an output voltage with a determined level through control of the first current, according to an input current (Iin) delivered to the second input. A resistance (217) is connected between a control connection for the driver device and the output connection.
