SOLUTION: The method for forming a three-dimensional article 1 comprises the steps of emitting a light beam B to an inorganic or organic powder material or liquid material to form a cured layer, stacking the layers to form a desired threedimensional article 1, forming a position detecting dummy 7 obtained by stacking desired article 1 and simultaneously the cured layer, and position- correcting the article 1 based on position detecting information of the dummy 7.
