PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a ligneous composite board in which smoothness of a rigid layer in a medium-density fiberboard forming the surface of the ligneous composite board is utilized as it is by sticking the medium-density fiberboard on the surface of a ligneous base board such as plywood. SOLUTION: Firstly, in the case of producing a laminated sheet A' by temporarily bonding a medium-density fiberboard 1 on the surface of a ligneous base board by an adhesive, cold clamping is performed in such a state that the surface rigid layers in the medium-density fiberboards 1 of the upper and lower laminated sheets are mutually positioned in an opposition state and a plurality of laminated sheets are piled. Then, a pair of upper and lower laminated sheets A' are heated and pressurized in such a state that the surface rigid layers of the medium-density fiberboards 1 are similarly positioned in the opposition state. Therefore, the surface rigid layer of the medium-density fiberboard 1 does not receive effect from a flaw caused on the hot platen of a hot press and dust stuck on the hot platen. A plurality of sheets of ligneous composite boards 10 holding a smooth surface rigid layer as it is, are obtained.
