PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector that can be cleaned as is, without attaching an aid such as a waterproof cap or the like and prevents an electrical contact from getting exposed externally. SOLUTION: This electrical connector is provided with the first arm member 10 having a first face 10a, a second arm member 11 having a second face 11a that can butt against the first face 10a and attached rotatably to the first arm member, an urging means 16 that urges the first and second arm members 10 and 11 in the direction, where the first face 10a and the second face 11a butt against each other, electrical contacts 13 provided in the inside of at least one of the first face 10a and the second face 11a, a waterproofing means 15 that is provided in at least one of the first face 10a and the second face 11a and keeps electrical contacts 13 watertight with the first face 10a and the second face 11a butting each other.
