PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dynamic pressure bearing device low in cost, by forming negative pressure releasing parts efficiently in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The whole body of a shaft member or a bearing member 15 is formed by a consistent powder metallurgy process, and a recessed groove formation process is carried out continued to a main body formation process to form a main body part other than negative pressure releasing parts 15b, and the negative pressure releasing parts 15b are formed by a sizing process in the recessed groove formation process. As a result, the dynamic pressure bearing device can be formed by a series of powder metallurgy process of a low cost, without applying a high cost of process such as a conventional cutting process.
