摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording system having in combination a sublimation thermal transfer and an image receiver for sublimation thermal transfer without heat fusion bonding between an ink layer and an image receiving layer, feeding fault, and thermal transfer of the ink layer to the receiving layer. SOLUTION: In the sublimation type thermal recording system comprising in combination a sublimation transfer and its image receiver used for a recording method having the steps of thermally printing a rear surface of the transfer in the state that the transfer and the receiver are superposed and the both are fed under the conditions of [conveying speed of the receiver]/[conveying speed of the transfer]>1 or [feeding amount of the receiver]/[feeding amount of the transfer]>1, and transferring a dye in the transfer onto the receiver at an image density of at least 1.7, a dynamic frictional coefficient A (25 deg.C) at 25 deg.C to the receiver of the transfer is 0.30 or below and a difference between the coefficient A (110 deg.C) at 110 deg.C and the coefficient A (25 deg.C) at 25 deg.C is 10 or below.
