PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically find irradiation conditions for achieving uniform dose distribution in a whole irradiated material in radiation exposure for sterilizing foods or others. SOLUTION: A X-ray CT unit 6 photographs the tomographic image of an irradiated material 2 and an irradiating condition determining part 8 acquires the density distribution of the irradiated material 2 in accordance with the tomographic image. The irradiating condition determining part 8 searches irradiating conditions where the variation of dose distribution inside the irradiated material 2 is controlled to be a preset range in accordance with the density distribution. An irradiation control part 16 controls a radiation exposure unit 14 in accordance with the irradiating conditions for radiation irradiation to the irradiated material 2 carried to the radiation exposure unit 14 via a belt conveyor 10 in accordance with the irradiating conditions. |
