PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dietary supplement using chaff. SOLUTION: Chaff is mixed with rice bran and sesame, pulverized, fumigated, compressed, kept warm and aged to produce a powdery processed food comprising chaff as a main raw material. The powdery processed food or a food and a beverage containing the powdery processed food is taken to promote health.
