PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair tonic having an excellent trichogenous effect, an excellent hair growth-stimulating effect, or the like, by adding the squeezed extract of sesame seeds as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This hair tonic contains the squeezed extract of the seeds of sesame (Sesamum indicum L. in the family Pedaliaceae) preferably roasted at 150-190 deg.C as an active ingredient. The extract of the sesame seeds is preferably the squeezed extract of natural (wild) sesame seeds produced in Korea. The combination of the squeezed extract of the sesame seeds with an extract obtained by extracting Ginseng radix or Kouzin (steamed rhizome of Panax ginseng, used as a medicine) with warm water or hot water is preferable. When the squeezed extract is combined with the Kouzin, the squeezed extract and the extract of the Kouzin are preferably used in a weight ratio of 20/1 to 1/1. |
