PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend and contract expansion wheels according to a difference in level and carry an object to be carried, keeping a carrier truck horizontal, by providing a moving means constituted of the expansion wheels movable in the vertical direction on front and rear sides of a base on which the object to be carried is mounted and fixed wheels provided on front and rear sides of these expansion wheels. SOLUTION: On a first floor surface A, an object to be carried W is carried in an advancing direction in a state that all of expansion front wheels 5A and expansion rear wheels 5B are drawn up. When the expansion front wheels 5A exceed a descending difference in level part K1 to be a boundary of the first floor surface A and a second floor surface B which is lower than the floor surface A, a worker S operates an operation panel 8 and elongates the expansion front wheels 5A until lower ends of the expansion front wheels 5A reach a floor surface B. When the carrier truck is advanced in this state and the expansion rear wheels 5B exceed the difference in level part K1, the expansion rear wheels 5B are elongaged and the lower ends are mounted on the floor surface B. Therefore, the carrier truck is supported by the elongaged expansion front wheels 5A and expansion rear wheels 5B and is moved to the front, on the floor surface B.
