ARM REST OF LIFT UP SEAT FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a change of a wheelchair user by improving an arm rest provided on a lift up seat for a vehicle. SOLUTION: In a lift up seat S movable to the inside and the outside of a car room, side plates 20 along side surfaces of a seat cushion 10 and a seat back 11 of a seat body 1 are formed on right and left side edges of a seat holder 2 on which the seat body 1 is placed. Rear ends of horizontal portions 21 of the side plates 20 along side surfaces of the seat cushion 11 and front ends of an arm rest 6 are connected by a link arm 7 and the arm rest 6 is vertically movable. A lock device 8 for locking a rear end of the arm rest 6 is provided on a vertical portion 22 of the side plates 20 along the side surfaces of the seat back 11 to horizontally support the arm rest 6. The arm rest 6 with a released lock is downwardly moved and accommodated in a position being approximately the same plane as the seat cushion 10. A gap between a seat S and a wheelchair C laid at a side of the seat S is buried with the arm rest 6.
