STABILIZATION OF BIOLUMINESCENT REAGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-quality bioluminescent reagent capable of stabilizing its firefly luciferase and retaining its long-term activity by coexistence of a phosphoric acid donator. SOLUTION: This reagent is obtained by stabilizing firefly luciferaze of e.g. an amino acid partially substituted morph firefly luciferaze or a firefly luciferaze labeled substance bound to other substance by bringing into coexistence pref. 1.00 to 100 mM of phosphoric acid donator of e.g. one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of adenosinemonophosphate, adenosinediphosphate and phenylphosphate. The firefly luciferaze solution at pH 6.0 to 9.0 is pref. prepared by including the firefly luciferaze and phosphoric acid donator, and the luciferin is pref. stabilized by bring the phosphoric acid donator into coexistence.
