PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of strength and defective sealing caused by the override of a screw thread and the breakage of the screw thread when a regenerated salt feed case is screwed with a closing cap, in a water softener for softening a raw water by the ion exchange method. SOLUTION: Positioning stopper structures for screwing are provided on a regenerated salt feed case 8 and a closing cap 10, and when the closing cap 10 is rotated and screwed on the case 8, a heating face 11a of a protruded line 11 formed on an inner top face of the closing cap 10 hits a hitting face 9a of a protruded line 9 formed on an upper inner peripheral face of the case 8 to stop the screwing of the closing cap 10 in the above structures, wherein troubles such as the incomplete screwing, the override of a screw thread section 8a and the breakage of the screw thread section 8a caused by the overscrewing are not generated and the closing cap 10 can be stopped on specified positions.
