PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing bar which prevents the damage of an electrode and the occurrence of the defective pressure between the bearing bar and a twist bar when the twist bar is to be welded to the bearing bar provided with antislip protruded stripes on a tread section for relatively widening the width of groove sections. SOLUTION: Antislip protruded stripes 13 are transversely formed on the tread section 12 of a bearing bar 11 used for a grating. A protruded stripe 15 interrupting the groove sections 14 formed between the protruded stripes 3 is provided, thereby a twist bar 16 is supported on the protruded stripe 15 during the process for pressure-welding the twist bar 16 to the bearing bar 11 to manufacture the grating, and no problem occurs during welding.
