PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print dots to be printed with the same density via each nozzle of a printing head by applying a driving voltage based on second printing data obtained by correcting first printing data based on correction data to each pressure generating means. SOLUTION: Printing data D10 provided from a personal computer 37 are corrected according to correction data D11 stored in a non-volatile memory 34. A driving pulse to be applied to each piezoelectric element of an ink-jet printing head is produced by the amplitude modulation of a reference pulse P10 based on the obtained printing data D12. The printing operation is executed by driving each piezoelectric element based on the driving pulse. Accordingly, ink droplets with the same size can certainly be ejected from each nozzle of the ink-jet printing head for dots with the same designated density so that the image quality of the printed image can be improved dramatically.
