PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase space efficiency, reduce weight, simplify a structure and improve assembling work by reducing the number of part items of a spherical joint for connecting an exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: A locking flange 2 is fixed to an upstream exhaust pipe H1, and an energizing flange 3 is fixed to a downstream exhaust pipe H2. The locking and energizing flanges 2a and 3 are covered with a housing 4. The energizing flange 3 is energized toward the upstream by an annular spring 6 and, thus, the locking flange 2 is energized to the upstream by a spherical gasket 5 and locked in the housing 4, and a spherical joint 1 is assembled.
