<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mass propagation of Azadirachta excelsa JACOBS using tissue culture. SOLUTION: An apical bud, an axillary bud, a leaf or a stalk of Azadirachta excelsa JACOBS is cultured to induce and propagate a multiple-bud body, an adventitious embryo or an adventitious bud. The propagated multiple-bud body, adventitious embryo or adventitious bud is cultured in a shoot elongation medium to elongate the shoot and subsequently the Azadirachta excelsa JACOBS can be propagated in large quantities using tissue culture by culturing and making the elongated shoot root in a rooting medium.</p> |
