PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil composition for cold rolling of aluminum or the like free from the risk of taking fire, capable of suppressing the occurrence of stain and suitable for rolling at a high speed under a high pressure by adding a mineral oil having an ignition point of a specific temperature or higher, and a boiling point in a specific range, as a base oil. SOLUTION: This oil composition contains a mineral oil having an ignition point of 120 deg.C or higher, preferably 125 deg.C or higher, more preferably 130 deg.C or higher, and having the difference between the 5%-running point and the 95%-running point of 30 deg.C or less, preferably 28 deg.C or less, more preferably 25 deg.C or less, which contains mainly paraffin, naphthene or the like as a base oil. Further, the composition preferably contains a poly-α-olefin, an alkylenenaphthalene, a polyol ester, a silicone oil or the like. |
