PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a stretch on the side surface section, and prevent a side sealed section from being peeled by making the bonded width of a lower side sealed section larger than the bonded width of an upper side sealed section, and at the same time, making the internal edge of the lower side sealed section locate inner than the internal edge of the upper side sealed section. SOLUTION: For this packaging bag 100, a gusset section g is formed at the upper end edge g' of front and rear walls f and r. Also, both end edges g' of the gusset section g are bonded to both right and left side edge sections 7 of the front and rear walls f and r, and an upper side sealed section 7a is formed. In addition, the side edge sections of the front and rear walls f and r are directly bonded to each other, and a lower side sealed section 7b is formed. In this case, the bonded width of the lower side sealed section 7b is made approx. 1.5-2 times larger than the bonded width of the upper side sealed section 7a. Then, the internal edge 7b1 of the lower side sealed section 7b is located inner than the internal edge 7b2 of the upper side sealed section 7a. By this constitution, a tensile force which is applied to the packaging bag 100 is sufficiently received by the lower side sealed section 7b.
