PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply operable vacuum cleaner which does not force unnatural posture superior but offers superior housing property. SOLUTION: Expansion of a connection pipe 400 is made adjustable by an at-hand handle 300, and on a vacuum cleaner main body 100, a large wheel which changes a laterally long attitude into a vertically long housing attitude is provided, and to a first main body attaching means 101 which is provided on the upper rear side of the main body 100, a first connection pipe attaching means 501 which is provided at a lower section of the connection pipe 400 is connected, and is depressed downward through the at-hand handle 300. Thus, the main body 100 is changed to the vertically long housing posture via the rotating shaft B1 of the large wheel, and a second main body attaching means 108 which is provided at an upper section of the main body 100 under the vertically long housing posture, and a second connection pipe attaching means 401 which is provided at an upper section of the first connection pipe attaching means 501 are made connectable by expanding the connection pipe 400.
