SUBSTANCE: device that may be found useful in psychiatry and narcology including treatment of alcoholism, narcomania, food, nicotinic, toxic, and other dependences, as well as treatment of psychosomatic diseases by attacking conscious and unconscious spheres of human psychics has therapeutic- effect and biological feedback simulation unit 1 that can be implemented as microcomputer with relevant software and functions to generate control signals arriving at inputs of stimulator unit 2 whose function is to supply stimulating signals to light-emitting members 8, sound- emitting members 9, and tactile-effect members 10 mounted in helmet- simulator 7 of sensors put on patientÊs head. Stimulating signals picked off second outputs of stimulator unit 2 are passed, respectively, to 13, 14, 15 of light-, sound-, and tactile-effect members of unit 12 that simulates effect of mentioned members on patientÊs brain. Time separation of signals, dynamics of their variation, change-over from manual to automatic control of device are controlled by control unit 16 incorporated in therapeutic- effect simulation and biological feedback unit 1 and by remote-control console 19 that may be connected to unit 1 through cable 24 or wireless channel.
