SUBSTANCE: device registering mechanical failure of blades of turbine rotor has rotating rotor, magnetic system forming eddy currents in blades of rotor, induction coils measuring signals of electromotive force of induction, signal comparison circuit, magnetic tape applied to surface of shaft of rotor including sections magnetized to saturation uniformly located along length of shaft of rotor which number equals number of blades. Length of magnetized sections is found by formula b=a, where a is width of blade; Rsh is radius of shaft of rotor; Rb is radius of blade of rotor.
