LED ARRAY CHIP, LED DRIVER CHIP, LED PRINT HEAD AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a printing quality without increasing costs. SOLUTION: The LED print head includes LED array chips 22 having a plurality of light-emitting parts arranged thereon, driver chips 13 having a plurality of driving electrode pads thereon for driving the light-emitting parts separately by feeding a current to the corresponding light-emitting parts from the driving electrode pads, and a wiring board 11 where a plurality of the LED array chips 22 are mounted in an arrangement direction of the light- emitting parts and a plurality of the driver chips 13 are mounted along the arrangement of the LED array chips 22. A length LLED in the arrangement direction of the light-emitting parts of the LED array chip 22 is smaller than a length LIC in an arrangement direction of the driving electrode pads of the driver chip 13. A shrinkage size in the arrangement direction of the light- emitting parts because of a thermal shrinkage of the chip when mounted to the wiring board 11 is not larger than 8% an arrangement pitch size of the light-emitting parts.
