PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant oil composition that has good abrasion resistance, excellent thermal stability and oxidation stability, can prevent machine sliding parts from being abraded to prolong the machine life and can prolong the life of the lubricant oil itself by formulating a specific combination of compounds with a lubricant base oil. SOLUTION: (A) A triaryl phosphate (suitably triphenyl phosphate or the like), (B) an alkylphenol (suitably 2,6-di-tert.-butyl-p-cresol or the like and/or an aromatic amine (suitably a p,p'-dialkyldiphenylamine or the like) and (C) a fatty acid (suitably a 12-18C straight chain aliphatic monobasic acid, for example, lauric acid) are formulated to give the objective lubricant oil composition. In a preferred embodiment, the components (A) and (B) are added each in an amount of 0.1-2 mass % based on the whole weight of the composition and the component (C) added is 0.05-5 mass %. The addition of an ester in an amount of 0.5-5 mass % based on the whole weight of the composition further increases the abrasion resistance desirably.
