PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hollow body of a synthetic resin having sufficient and uniform joint strength and outstanding long-term durable reliability and the joint structure of the hollow body of a synthetic resin obtained by the method. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the hollow body of a synthetic resin by joining the end faces of primary moldings 13 obtained by injection molding to each other in a mold and filling a secondary flow path formed by a butting part and the mold with a secondary injection resin, the primary moldings 13 are joined together by injecting the secondary injection resin in the fitting or the butting direction on the face with which the mold comes into contact, of the secondary flow path, from a gate 16 provided continuously in the longitudinal direction of the secondary flow path.
