PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry wet difluoromethane (F32) by using a commercial molecular sieve capable of being easily used in an industrial production plant of F32. SOLUTION: A flow of wet F32 is continuously brought into contact with the supplied raw material of a composition containing a molecular sieve selected from 3A, 4A or 5A type sieve at the temperature of 5-78 deg.C under the pressure of 0.6-25 atm. In the case, it is desirable that the flow of the F32 contains less than 10,000 ppm, preferably less than 6,000 ppm water.
