PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized cross feeder with a stable article-conveying part, and free from failures. SOLUTION: This feeder is composed of an article conveying part 2 and an elevating part 3. The conveying part 2 has paired two sheets of parallel plate-like members 7, 8, and is provided with pulleys 10-19 therein. A conveying roller 26 built-in with a motor having a V-pully fixed is penetratedly inserted into the plate-like members 7, 8. A V-belt is suspended between the pulleys 10-19 and the V-pulley mounted on the roller 26. The elevating part 3 is composed of an elevation roller 40 built-in with a motor (elevation instrument), an idle roller 41 and a toothed belt 45. A shape of a toothed pulley is formed in the whole face of a cylindrical body in the roller 40. The roller 40 has a resistant member in its inside, and a tip of an abutting member in the resistant member is pressed all the time to an inner face of the cylindrical body by a spring. A circular protrusion (eccentric part) is provided in a cover member of the roller 40.
