PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely extinguish cigarette butts thrown away by a player and to recover relatively large litter such as waste paper and chewing gum other than the cigarette butts thrown away in an ashtray by the rotation of a helical blade as well. SOLUTION: This device is formed so that the cigarette butts are allowed to flow down from the opening part 3 of the ashtray 2 fixed to a hole 28 perforated on a counter 21 at the lower end of a game machine through a shield cover 5 to a pipe 8 attached in a horizontal state inside an attaching base 22. The litter such as cigarette butts accumulated at a bottom part in the pipe is allowed to flow well while being surely extinguished with water circulated by using a pump 15 from a water tank 17. Further, by rotating the helical blade 10 in the pipe by a belt transmission mechanism, the cigarette butts are allowed to flow down to a dust box 14 while being pulverized.
