SOLUTION: This biorhythm inspecting apparatus 10 is provided with a biorhythm detecting part 12 for measuring acceleration accompanied with repeating rhythm movement as biorhythm information, an information collecting device 14 for recording and storing the biorhythm information obtd. from the biorhythm detecting part 12 and an information processing device 16 for performing data analysis of the biorhythm information recorded in the information collecting device 14 and distinguishing the deterioration or aging of physiological functions in its early stages. The biorhythm inspecting method distinguishes the deterioration or aging of physiological functions in the early stages by a method, wherein a biorhythm detecting tool 12 is fitted on a site where repeating the rhythmic movements of muscles caused by autokinesis can be detected and various kinds of biorhythm information accompanied by the repeating rhythmic movements are measured and a step for recording and storing the biorhythmic movements and a step for performing data analysis of the biorhythm information and comparing them with the data from healthy individuals are provided.
