THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in impact resistance and transparency by including a methacrylic resin and a specific block copolymer. SOLUTION: The objective thermoplastic resin composition is prepared by including (A) 99.5-30 wt.% (preferably 99.5-50 wt.%) methacrylic resin and (B) 0.5-70 wt.% (preferably 0.5-50 wt.%) block copolymer consisting of (i) a methacrylic polymer block, (ii) an acrylic polymer block and (iii) an isobutylene- based polymer block. The difference between refractive indices of the ingredients B and A preferably is within 0.01 at 20 deg.C. The ingredient B preferably has 30,000-500,000 number average molecular weight (Mn) and <=1.8 (Mw/Mn) (wherein, Mw shows weight average molecular weight; Mw/Mn is measured by gel permeation chromatography). The ingredient B preferably consists of 5-90 wt.% component (i) and 95-10 wt.% the total of components (ii) and (iii).
