PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressed flower ornament which not only can efficiently pull out inside air but also can reliably keep an adhered part in the sealed state over a long period of time to prevent an inside pressed flower from deteriorating and to provide a method for producing the pressed flower ornament. SOLUTION: This pressed flower ornament is constructed by a cover body which has about the same size opening as a mount in a side of a dampproof bag that is formed by the use of a dampproof sheet, e.g. an aluminum laminate film or the like, and has sealed parts around, a color change inhibitor such as a drying agent, a deoxidizer or the like, a mount installed in the opening of the cover body, a pressed flower arranged on the upper side of the mount and a transparent plate which covers the upper side of the cover body so as to cover the pressed flower and fixes the sealed parts on the periphery of the cover body with an adhesive in the sealed state.
